Connecting Cape Town to Washington DC
These flight offerings from United will connect Cape Town to no less than 55 American cities. This represents more than 92% of the US travel demand.
In addition to the Cape Town routes, United Airlines has also offered a non-stop service between New York (Newark) and Johannesburg since 2021.
This new flight offering is the latest in a string of new and reopened routes. The effect of COVID-19 travel restrictions negatively impacted tourism worldwide. Travel and passenger numbers have more or less returned to pre-pandemic levels with most countries having ended strict COVID protocols.
